For years, Star Moles, the songwriting project of multi-instrumentalist Emily Moales, has indiscriminately released a legion of singles, EPs, and full albums of “lo-fi sci-fi” pop jewels mostly assembled from their bedroom recording space. Thankfully, the fine friends at Earth Libraries have exhumed the fantastic 2018 album Camelot for a physical release shipping later this year. Camelot splices Medieval period romanticism and the lore surrounding King Arthur’s Court with Moales’ mythic and candlelit indie pop captured through the indubitable analog recording rigs of Kevin Basko.
