As the lyrics “I’ll follow you” faded out in repetition to close 2016’s instant classic Light Upon The Lake, the wait began for the second chapter of the lovelorn story behind Chicago’s beloved country-soul bucks Whitney. Co-writers Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek revive the heartache with “Giving Up,” the first single from their upcoming album Forever Turned Around out August 30th via Secretly Canadian produced by the crack team Brad Cook and Jonathan Rado.
