Toro y Moi- Sandhills

On a surprise curveball EP, indie-pop deity Toro y Moi takes an introspective journey back to his homeplace around Columbia, South Carolina, a region better known for it’s barbecue joints, hollowed-out strip malls, and high school football honors than its high art or new age psychedelic music. Synths and drum machines are swapped with banjos and pedal steel to feel the rural reunion of Chaz Bear’s roots.
