Wilbur Niles- Thrust

The privately pressed debut from Akron, Ohio hobbyists Wilbur Niles & Machelle McNeal titled Thrust, known to net upwards of $1,500 for a vinyl copy, will be rereleased by Toronto label We Are Busy Bodies. The scarce late 70s joint was recorded in the rear stock room of a car wash and involves DIY basement jazz, Moog synth driven space funk, and burning R&B instrumentals.
