Lining Time- Strike

Lining Time was the female choral troupe formed by a group of Dartington College of Arts students in 1982 who recorded an album, Strike, that voiced their liberatory protests within the larger Women’s Liberation Movement happening in Europe. The salient messages in their acapella chants and folky-rhythmed calls to action for bodily independence and equal rights are still as urgent and compelling today as they were back then.
