Wilma Vritra represents the transatlantic musical collaboration between London’s jazz-informed multi-instrumentalist Will Archer and Los Angeles’ Odd Future-adjacent producer Hal Williams, better known as Pyramid Vritra. On their latest linkup, Grotto, the duo steer their abstract hip-hop through a dank tunnel of chilly and cerebral rhyme schemes pushed along an increasingly illuminated trail of sultry orchestrals and spaced-out, loungey curiosities.
