In 2020, producer Tony Price bought a 1981 Lincoln Continental Mark VI in New Mexico that, along with its mighty 5.0 L V8 engine and luxurious full-size comfort, came a stack of cassettes belonging to the previous owner, a local Chicago house and Detroit techno radio DJ. These fortunes of Paradise Garage funk, experimental computer jazz, early Chicago House and bizarre public access TV atmospheres led Price to formulate his sixth full length record Mark VI that arrives March 11 on Telephone Explosion that debuts with the sleek single “Learning From Las Vegas.”
