Breaking a four year silence, the reclusive Los Angeles songwriter Alex Izenberg has presented “Sister Jade,” a track from a brand new collection of wonderfully unorthodox chamber pop that form Caravan Château, his new record out July 31st from Weird World & Domino Recording Co. For his sophomore record, Izenberg collaborated with Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor, Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, and others to hone the quirk of his enigmatic musical universe within the same galaxy as Laurel Canyon ancestors like Dennis Wilson, Van Dyke Parks, and Harry Nilsson.
