As a teenager in the mid 70s, Mariangela Celeste signed to a major label contract and enlisted New Age superstar Vangelis to produce and arrange her debut self-titled full-length record. Through an unfortunate business maneuver, the record was only distributed in Greece, Canada, South Africa, and Holland making the early electronic pop gem essentially impossible to find in Western Europe or the United States and dooming the release for failure. Luckily, the folks at Telephone Explosion have reissued the long-lost album for a second attempt at finding the listeners it so greatly deserves.
