New Commute Cancelled Tours Project // Pt. 3
Whether the curve is flattening or not, the music and arts economies are still dormant. Whether you typically play for 100,000 maniacal fans in a domed arena or to a disinterested elderly couple at a hotel happy hour, paid gigs are absent from any performer’s calendar. We’ve completed two rounds of the New Commute Cancelled Tours Project which has received an overwhelming amount of entries of music fans showing their support for the music community for a chance to win some really exciting prizes. It’s vitally important to those who are fortunate enough to have the means to show support to musicians through album sales and merch purchases during these trying times. To keep the momentum, we’re pleased to announce the third installment of prizes in the New Commute Cancelled Tours Project.
To enter: send proof of purchase of an album ($5 or greater) from a band or musician, label, or local record store bought April 15th or later to cancelledtoursproject@gmail.com. Proof of purchase must be a screenshot after payment is completed. We recommend using the artist’s Bandcamp page if one is available, a band or artist store, label store, or an online local record store. If there are questions, please contact cancelledtoursproject@gmail.com.
