Modern Nature- Cycles
Modern Nature’s live performances have always existed as the summation of uniquely powerful individual improvisations coming together to create the band’s timeless, shade-grown experimental psych. Not allowing quarantine to slow the project, the group has developed Cycles, a collaborative concept album of sorts born from ideas used on Modern Nature’s upcoming full-length Annual that mimics the earth’s seasonal cycle. Instrumentalists submit their own isolated recordings which are designed to be downloaded onto separate devices and placed around your home to create your own sound chamber. Jack Cooper, Jeff Tobias, Jim Wallis and other Modern Nature patrons have provided their parts along with a growing list of guest contributors like Ryley Walker, Sean Thompson, Rich Ruth, and Hollow Hand.
