Papa Bear & His Cubs- You're So Fine

Papa Bear & His Cubs was the deep-groove funk band from the 1960s headed by Eddie Disnute Sr. In 1975, accompanied by his wife and children, the group recorded their timeless singles “You’re So Fine” and “Sweetest Thing On This Side of Heaven” in “one night, and one take.” Thankfully the fine folks at the Athens of The North label have reissued the ultra-rare tracks although the wax version has already disappeared from the shelves.
