Angel Olsen- Lady of the Water Park

Likely the only folks who own this are authentic Angel junkies from way back or close friends, as this cassette of Angel Olsen rarities was limited to 100 or so copies. Released in 2010 by Love Lion Records, Lady of the Water Park is a 6 track EP of covers of songs written by female vocalists; Skeeter Davis, Dolly Parton, Sandy Posey, et al. Long gone from any online store in physical format, Love Lion now graciously offers the lo-fi gem as a stream on their bandcamp page. Long before she was unfuckingtheworld and burning fires for no witness, it was Angel Olsen, a guitar, and a cheap recording device. Though her music remains honorably authentic today, it's the early stuff that reveals her deep-rooted songwriting prowess.
