Mushapata- Saba-Saba Fighting

Hovering atop free jazz, Afrobeat, and experimental reggae, Saba-Saba Fighting is a 4-song collection taken from two albums released by Congolese underground reggae artist Mushapata between 1980 and 1984. This one is out there pretty far at times, but its energy is unique and its groove is ablaze. Mushapata began focusing on recording lo-fi reggae with his band Saba-Saba Fighting after spending years as a bodyguard in France for celebrities visiting the country including Bob Marley's Uprising Tour, his last and biggest world tour.
