Within a few brief moments of Bong Wish's self-titled EP, it's evident that Boston's Mariam Saleh has a fond appreciation for the whimsical and fanciful British folk from the 60s and early 70s. With heady, untroubled lyrics strewn across chilled out prog sonic-scapes and country twang guitar bumbles, the EP meanders peacefully throughout the proverbial enchanted forest previously visited by Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span era masters.
