Self-Portrait: Rosali

Artwork by Mickey Miles

For our Self-Portrait series, we invite our favorite musicians to create an audio depiction of themselves through songs from the past and present.

Rosali stars in the newest Self-Portrait feature emceeing an elaborate playlist of key references for her powerful new record Bite Down released in March to universal critical praise.

“Growing up in a musical family, heavily steeped in British Folk, rock, jazz and psychedelia, I was also a teen of the 90's who loved top 40 radio plus punk rock and grunge with indie rock friends. I mostly listened to mixed tapes I'd play in my car driving around the muck fields and apple orchards of my Michigan home town. Always loved a sweet and slightly off-kilter love song with melodic barbs.”
